Wampum Chapter Members at McConnell's Mill State Park

Our chapter has lots of areas where you can volunteer on the trail. Some of our activities include: being an adopter, making sure the trail is kept in order to help work and negotiate with landowners for their permission for the trail to pass, recruiting new members, planning hikes and events, promoting the chapter through public publicity and building new trail, our chapter has it all.  We're always looking for volunteers.

When volunteers working on the trail, reporting their hours reach the 100, 400, or the 1000 hour mark they receive special gifts of gratitude from our national office and the National Park Service.  These hours also helps us show our volunteerism and helps us get grants.

If you're interested in volunteering along the North Country Trail, contact us and we will send you more information.

Via e-mail you can contact us at wampum@northcountrytrail.org or you can contact us via mail at:
