MISSION STATEMENT AND BY-LAWS
The major purpose of the our chapter of the North Country Trail
Association is specifically to build, maintain and promote the North
Country National Scenic Trail in Lawrence and Beaver Counties in the
State of Pennsylvania. Ancillary to the Chapter’s main purpose, yet not independent of it, will be the promotion of safe and sound outdoor activities, the
fostering of fellowship amongst members, respect for our natural
heritage and the encouragement of member participation in all aspects
of the Chapter’s activities. To find out more on the actual operations

TRAIL RANGE
The Wampum Chapter is responsible
for developing and maintaining the North Country National
Scenic Trail in Lawrence and Beaver Counties. Its range
spans from the Ohio-Pennsylvania line in Beaver
County to the Lawrence-Butler County line.
MEMBERS
Wampum is one of the Association's twenty-one chapters, with
thirty-four members. The chapter organizes many member
activities, usually sponsoring a hike or event every
month. Although most members live in the Lawrence-Beaver
County area, the Wampum Chapter is pleased to have
members in other counties, and even in other states!

MONTHLY
MEETINGS
The Wampum Chapter has its monthly business meeting on the third
Wednesday of each month at Hito's Restaurant located at the corner of State Route 168 (Center Avenue) and 5th Street, in West Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. We meet for dinner at 6:00 PM and start the monthly meeting at 6:30 PM.

Each Thursday morning until winter arrives.
