Thanks for your help as a North Country Trail Volunteer!

To report your hours, just fill in this form and click on the "Submit to NCTA" button at the bottom. You don't need to fill out a form for every day you worked. Instead, just lump everything together for each month or each quarter and submit it. If you use this form, please do not send us a paper copy too.

Please do the best you can to divide up your hours into the four work categories shown here. It may seem that they overlap a bit, or that your particular type of work is missing, but that's ok, really. Just make the best guesses you can and don't lose any sleep over it.

(It would be easier for our recordkeeping if you would report hours quarterly, but we will continue to offer the option to report monthly)

Hours doing maintenance or construction:
Hours leading hikes, promoting the trail, working on a newsletter or website, working at events, doing presentations, recruiting members, talking to landowners, etc.
Hours on administrative tasks: leading meetings, planning, fund raising, coordinating, etc.
Hours performing resource management, like stabilizing stream banks, installing wood duck houses, burning prairies, planting trees or grasses, improving habitat, etc.

Volunteer hours are critical for demonstrating public support to justify Federal funding. Good records of hours also improve our chances of receiving other types of grants. Thanks very much for taking the time to report your hours to us!
