Tittabawassee Chapter Meetings

Our meetings are informal but effective discussions. We make plans for our various activities, hear reports of how past activities turned out and learn about trail business at the national level. We also share other hiking events and interests.

We meet every other month except for July. Our winter meetings are held in the southern part of our membership's area, while the spring and fall meetings are held in the northern part of our membership's area. We are also combining our spring and fall walk thru with our trip up north for the meeting. During the summer we meet to work on the trail. We schedule the third week of June for a combination camp out and work meeting, and schedule other get-togethers as needed.

March 6, 2008, chapter meeting at Alex's Railside Restaurant in Sanford, MI, at 6:30 P.M.
May 3, 2008, Saturday at 10:00 A.M., meet at the National Fish Hatchery for our chapter meeting and have our trail walk through afterward. Anyone is welcome to join us for the walk through.
June 7, 2008, is NATIONAL TRAILS DAY. Our plans are to spend a pleasant day in the woods working on a trail reroute.
June 21st weekend is our work/camp weekend at Petoskey. We'll be camping on private land and working on the Petoskey reroutes. Join us for campfires and outdoor picnic suppers in the evening. E-mail TBWchapter@northcountrytrail.org for directions to camping spot. We may extend the work weekend to the following weekend if there are enough people interested.
September 27, 2008, is NATIONAL PUBLIC LAND'S DAY. Chapter meeting at B's Restaurant in Elmira, followed by our trail walk through.
November 6, 2008, chapter meeting at Alex's Railside Restaurant in Sanford, MI at 6:30 P.M.
Our January 2009, chapter meeting in Houghton Lake, Michigan, will be at Coyle's Restaurant at 11:30 A.M.
