Tittabawassee Chapter Meetings

Our meetings are informal but effective discussions. We make plans for our various activities, hear reports of how past activities turned out and learn about trail business at the national level. We also share other hiking events and interests.

We meet every other month except for July. Our winter meetings are held in the southern part of our membership's area, while the spring and fall meetings are held in the northern part of our membership's area. We are also combining our spring and fall walk thru with our trip up north for the meeting. During the summer we meet to work on the trail. We schedule the third week of June for a combination camp out and work meeting, and schedule other get-togethers as needed.

This is a list of our chapter meetings and also events that we have planned as a chapter.

January 10, 2010, meet at Coyles Restaurant in Houghton Lake at 11:30 A.M.
March 4, 2010, chapter meeting at Alex's Railside Restaurant in Sanford, MI, at 6:30 P.M.
March 6, 2010, Quiet Waters Symposium at MSU.
May 8, 2010, Saturday at 10:00 A.M., meet at the National Fish Hatchery for our chapter meeting and have our trail walk through afterward. Anyone is welcome to join us for the walk through.
June 5, 2010, is NATIONAL TRAILS DAY. We are planing a hike and a picnic to celebrate the day.
June 19, 2010 weekend is our work/camp weekend. We'll be camping on private land and working on the trail. We haven't got all the specifics yet. Join us for campfires and outdoor picnic suppers in the evening.
September 4, 2010, Chapter meeting at the National Fish Hatchery at 10:00 A.M. followed by our trail walk through.
September 25, 2010, is National Public Lands Day. We plan to work on a trail project that day.
November 4, 2010, chapter meeting at Alex's Railside Restaurant in Sanford, MI at 6:30 P.M.
