Adopt A Trail |
 | If this is you; looking out the window, longing to get
out on the trails and into the woods... |
Adopting a trail may be the committment you need to get there.
Are you a hiker that has enjoyed the trails and wants to give back to them?
Adopting a trail may provide the opportunity.
Do you want to spend some quality time with your family and friends
accomplishing meaningful, wholesome projects?
Adopting a trail may be the way to do it.
It is pleasant and satisfying to have a section of trail to call your own, but like all adoptions
it cames with a certain amount of responsibility.
Maintainer's Responsibilities include doing a "walk through" several times a year,
removing fallen branches from the trail, painting blazes as needed, checking on trail structures,
trail conditions, trail signs, and turning in a written report.
Explore the following links, and If adopting and maintaining a section of trail interests you,
