Choose any activities you desire, we have coded them to help in your selection. We hope you will plan to include the mid-day demonstrations and free lunch.
Family activity even younger children would enjoy- please be sensible, you are the best ones to know what your children are capable of.	Easy activity anyone would enjoy	Moderate activity, perhaps best for older kids and adults

3 morning activities to choose from

9:00 am- hike 2 easy miles on the NCT to Gleason’s Landing and return by the Pere Marquette River. This is a one-hour float.
9:15 am- hike 6 miles on a combination of the NCT and Bowman Trails- moderate hike with some rolling hills
10:00 am- hike 3 miles on Bowman Lake Trails- easy hike with some small hills

Noon to 2:00 pm

free lunch- folks are always willing to line up for food!

demonstration by Boy Scout Troop 1184 of Chase- 15 minute Compass Game
kid-friendly activities- free supervised trail crafts to make
sale table of trail logo items- shirts, hats, patches, pins, mugs, posters and more
magazine exchange- bring unwanted copies of outdoor/ recreation/ environmental publications to swap
first aid station, latrines, fresh water available

3 afternoon activities to choose from

2:00 pm- trail cleanup of 2 miles Bowman Area Trail- tools provided, bring your own gloves if desired
2:15 pm- hike 3 miles on a combination of the NCT and Bowman Trails- easy to moderate hike with some rolling hills
2:30 pm- hike 2 easy miles on Bowman Lake Trails around lake- easy hike with some small hills, hollows and views of the lake
