Silver Creek Pathway is in the northeast corner of Lake County, about 5 miles north of Luther. It is within the Pere Marquette State Forest and is maintained by the Michigan DNR.

From the village of Luther take State Road north. The access and campground at the south end of the loop is directly west of the 9-Mile Rd. crossing. Or continue to 10-Mile Rd. and turn west to park where the road dead-ends at the Pine River. There are campsites at this location too.

There is no fee to park or hike this trail. You will need to hike the entire 4 mile loop to answer the question, but you can begin your hike from either end. The questions are listed on the entry form, and the question for this hike is on the printable information sheet.

If you prefer to hike in a group, there will be a hike on this piece of trail led by the Spirit of the Woods Chapter of the North Country Trail Association on Saturday October 9. Meet 10 am at the south parking lot. Contact person TBA.

The map below appears on the printable version, and should be adequate for this short hike. Also see Lake County Trails for a description of this trail.
