The Manistee Riverwalk extends for 1.5 miles from the Main St. Bridge to Lake Michigan in downtown Manistee. Watch the boats, or the river, or the kids feeding ducks.

From US 31 in downtown Manistee, turn on River St. Park in back of House of Flavors, or continue to the Lake Michigan Beach, or park at appropriate locations in between. There are many access points to the walkway which is immediately along the river.

There is no charge for parking. Minimum distance required to get the answer to the question depends on where you access the walkway, but its total length is 1.5 miles, so at most you would walk 3 miles.
