Length: 3.71 miles (1.4 miles to Bergland Hill, 1.14
miles
from Bergland Hill to Old M-64, 1.17 miles from Old M-64 to FR 326)

Developments along trail: Trailheads and signs at M-64,
Old M-64, and FR 326, various transmission/relay towers and old fire
tower
at summit of Bergland Hill
General description of segment: Mostly quite hilly, long
climb from M-64 to summit of Bergland Hill. Mostly
hardwood/hemlock
forest, some recent logging. Only M-64 is plowed in winter.
Trail conditions (as of 2005): Trail was in good
shape and easy to follow.
