TRAIL RANGE
Welcome from the Ohio Valley Chapter of the North Country Trail Association. Our local chapter is responsible for planning, construction and maintenance of the North Country Trail from Wayne National Forest Boundary, west through Washington and
Morgan Counties. The Ohio Valley Chapter is working to plan, promote and develop the trail as yet another attraction to our
region. Nature-based, cultural and historic tourism are some of the Marietta's and the Ohio Valley's strongest assets. The
North Country Trail is a non-motorizes hiking and backpacking trail that ties these attractions together to bring a national focus
to our region. Come help us plan, build and hike the trail!
MEMBERS
Ohio River Valley Chapter was just chartered in August 2004. At the Annual Conference their enthusiastic members showed us the potential route through town. The Ohio Valley Chapter meets regularly and hosts organized hikes and workdays each year.
