Extra Funds for Chapters

This year, the NCTA Board budgeted $12,000 for Field Grants to Chapters, Trail Councils and State Trail Coordinators. With the last grant cycle complete for this year, $3,000 still remains in the budget. So, During its November conference call, the NCTA Executive Committee agreed to disperse the remaining funds to Chapters and Affiliates, effective December 31, 2001. The funds will be awarded according to the service hours reported by volunteers of each Chapter and Affiliate. So, the more hours you report, the more your Chapter or Affiliate organization stands to gain. We will cap the awards at $250, to make sure even our smaller Chapters get a little something. To qualify, hour reports must be received by 01/02/2002. Remember, you can report your hours on-line (see below).
