Kekekabic Trail Club Becomes Newest NCTA Affiliate

The Kekekabic Trail Club of Minnesota has become the newest Affiliate of the North Country Trail Association.

Affiliate members are independent non-profit organizations which maintain trails with miles concurrent with North Country Trail miles. Affiliates agree to support the Mission of the NCTA. They accept responsibility for their portions of the Trail, and seek to create or upgrade to certification standards when possible. Members in Affiliates may join the NCTA at reduced cost.

The KTC joins five other Affilitates: the Finger Lakes Trail Conference in NY; the American Youth Hostels- Pittsburgh, PA; the Buckeye Trail Associaton, and Northwest Ohio Rails to Trails Association in OH; and the Superior Hiking Trail Association also in Minnesota. The NCTA is working to increase partnership and cooperation with its Affiliate Organizations.
