Westbound:From the parking area on Harrison (Little Garlic) Road, the trail is a road walk to the west for approximately 3.1 miles when you will cross the Little Garlic River and on the left an old two-track leads westerly. Note: There is a large rock at the corner with painted markings pointing towards County Road 510. This portion is under scouting during 2010 and hopefully will be marked and semi-cleared soon for about 1.5 miles. You will eventually hook up to the portion we worked on during the Volunteer Adventure in the fall of ’09. This segment is about 1.6 miles in length and is cleared and marked with blue blazes. You will emerge out onto a two-track. Turn right and follow it past some large boulders and continue westerly to County Road 510, about half a mile.
Eastbound: From County Road 510 head east down the two-track. At the Y, stay right, continuing straight for about a half mile total from County Road 510. Go past the large boulders and watch for the blue blazes and carsonite post on the right where you turn into the new trail. Take this for about 1.6 miles where you will run out of blue blazes. The next segment is under scouting for 2010 and hopefully will be semi-cleared and at least blazed for about 1.5 miles where you will emerge out onto a two-track just north of the Little Garlic River. There is a large rock at the corner painted with 510 and an arrow pointing to the west. Turn right at the road and take the road walk the remaining 3.1 miles to the parking area at the end of Segment 18. |

You will pass the Noquemenon Ski Path Trailhead on the right after about 6.8 miles. At approximately 11.3 miles there will be a drive on the right into a tree farm.
