Westbound: The trail leaves the Elliott Donnelley Wilderness parking area into the woods (southwest) following the Little Garlic River, coming out on Harrison (Little Garlic) Road. Note: If you need to get off the trail, after 1.0 mile there is a trail to the right that takes you out to Harrison (Little Garlic) Road. There are also trails all along the river that fishermen use so watch carefully for the blue blazes.
Eastbound: From the parking area on Harrison (Little Garlic) Road, head into the woods (southeast) and follow the trail along the Little Garlic River to the Elliott Donnelley Wilderness parking area. Note: If you need to get off the trail, after 1.7 mile there is a trail to the right that takes you out to Harrison (Little Garlic) Road. There are also trails all along the river that fishermen use so watch carefully for the blue blazes. |
