TRAIL RANGE
The Lonetree Chapter is responsible for the Trail within Lonetree Wildlife Management Area (WMA). Over 32 miles of North Country Trail within the Lonetree WMA is Certified and hikeable. Visitors to Lonetree can expect to see a wide variety of habitats including prairie wetlands, native prairie, planted native grasses, and a whole host of trees and shrubs.

MEMBERS
Chartered in 2002, this chapter has members from Harvey, Anamoose, McClusky, Bismarck and the surrounding area.
CHAPTER EVENTS
The Chapter hosted a hike on the North Country Trail on January 6, 2007. Over 35 people braved the cold winds to learn more about the winter ecology of central North Dakota. Below are some pictures from that event.

Along with Dakota Birding and the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, the Lonetree Chapter is hosting a National Trails Day event (to include a birding hike, birding mini-workshop, and Chapter meeting) within the Lonetree Wildlife Management Area near Harvey, ND (June 2, 2007).
