Trail Under Construction - Updated January 2008
The Environmental Assessment Worksheet effort
conducted by the Minnesota DNR was completed in early October 2007. The DNR determined that an Environmental
Impact Statement was not required.
The DNR gave the Chapter the OK to resume trail building. A rigorous trail construction effort
commenced in early October by Chapter members and the Minnesota
Conservation Corps. Segment HC1B
was completed in the fall of 2007.
