getting involved with our chapter? We
are always looking for new members and volunteers. Here are some common questions you may have

I’m interested in getting involved,
but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make a lot of events, or even whether this

Volunteers can attend as many or as
few events as they are able to and may spend as much time at an event as their
schedule permits. There are no minimum

Do I need to be a member of the NCTA
to volunteer on the trail?
No.
While volunteers are encouraged to partake in the benefits of
membership, we welcome help from members and non-members alike. But remember – membership in the NCTA for new
members is available at a discounted rate.
Just put the name down of a Heritage Chapter officer as your
