Winter's Trails Day Hike at Soldier Lake |

| Stan and Kay Kujawa organized
another great hike for the Hiawatha Shore to Shore Chapter of the North
Country Trail Association. About forty people participated in the
January hike to celebrate National Trails' Day at Soldier Lake near Raco,
Michigan. Hikes varied in length from two to four miles. Hot dogs were
roasted in the Soldier Lake Pavilion and numerous treats were provided
by the members. The Hiawatha Shore to Shore Chapter hosts a hike every month, at different locations from the Mackinac Bridge, to the Two Hearted River near Newberry.
