December 2009 Hike
The Hiawatha Shore to Shore Hike was hosted by Stan and Kay Kujawa at their home on East Lake. About twenty participants enjoyed skiing or snowshoeing three or four miles along the North Country Scenic Trail between the East Lake Road and the Kenneth Road in northern Mackinac County. The hike was followed by a great lunch provided by the Kujawas and enhanced by snacks brought by the others. The Hiawatha Shore to Shore Chapter hosts a hike every month, at different locations from the Mackinac Bridge, to the Two Hearted River near Newberry.
