The Harbor Springs Chapter is responsible for developing and maintaining the North Country National Scenic Trail in Emmet County, or roughly from Mackinaw City to Petoskey, about 46 miles. Trails in this area pass through large public land tracts, including parts of the Pere Marquette State Forest and Wilderness State Park.

The Peripatetic Perambulators hike many of the North Country Trails.
Good Hart is located on M-119 between Cross Village and Harbor Springs.
The Former CV Cafe is located in Cross Village.
The Good Hart meeting place is on M119 about a block north of the Good Hart store.
In Cross Village it is also on M119, about 2 blocks south of Legs Inn, the only restaurant in CV. Just look for a few cars along the side of the road and a few people milling around.
