The Harbor Springs Chapter is responsible for developing and maintaining the North Country National Scenic Trail in Emmet County, or roughly from Mackinaw City to Petoskey, about 46 miles. Trails in this area pass through large public land tracts, including parts of Wilderness State Park.
If you have questions about our Chapter or the trail we maintain, please call or email any of the officers. We stay in close contact through email and what one person can’t answer another can.

Needed: Help Clearing Our Trails
The 2012 December snowstorm which came with a lot of heavy, wet snow brought down many trees and limbs on the trail creating lots of blockages. We could use help clearing away the debris, from throwing dead limbs off the trail to chainsawing large trees. Contact any officer for details of what has been completed and where work needs to be done.
