Camping

Facilities for camping along the North Country Trail vary greatly. In Emmet County camping is permitted on the North Country Trail with these provisions:

      tCampsite must be on public land

      tCampsite must not be within a mile of a designated

            campground

      tCampsite must not be adjacent to a rail-trail

      tCampers must fill out and post a campsite registration card

      tCamp may be prohibited in some areas due to trail or local

             conditions
