The North Country Trail Association is a grassroots nonprofit organization striving to build, maintain, protect and promote the North Country National Scenic Trail. The Trail itself is intended to be a premier footpath, modeled after its cousin, the Appalachian Trail. However, we expect the NCT to reach an astounding 4,600 miles when it's complete. As you might guess we have an enormous ongoing task ahead of us.

With all the various organizations and locations along the trail, it's only fitting we have a Links page to all the various locations along the trail for you to find out more information on these areas. Not only are there links to areas along the trail, there are also links to federal agencies we work with and other national hiking organizations located across the country.

Contacts:

A good way to find out how to contact us or the local chapters is via these links. Information about our staff in our National office is located on the Contacts Page. If you are looking for ways to contact local chapters, check out the Chapters page, and we have a separate page for all of our Partner Organizations.
