Note on
Frequency of Newsletters
At our April
meeting it was decided for a
number of good reasons to change
the frequency of the Newsletter
from monthly to
quarterly.
We believe we can still keep
sufficiently in touch with
everybody between Newsletter
issues by utilizing the Web
site, general e-mail, and the
Yahoo! Group. Just when
the next Newsletter will come
out is up in the air at the
moment, but we'll publish it on
the Web site as soon as it is
out. |

WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING?
|
By Larry Hawkins
|
The Winter
Hike was renamed the “Joe Higdon Winter
Cardiac Stress Test.” The day was gorgeous but
very cold. Temperatures were in the single digits.
Dr. Peter Forsberg, our host, had a fire in the
fireplace and several heaters going at the Long Lake
Lodge. Joe led the original group of nine, and
John Morgan went out a little later with a few more
hearty individuals. Mick Hawkins and Ron
Sootsman took
photos, which are available on the web site.
The hike was a lot of fun, and for those of you who
couldn’t be there, “we missed you!”
Thank you to Peter and Dee for being wonderful hosts.
