One drawback to building a bridge or a puncheon on a wilderness trail is that there often is no quick and easy way to get the materials to the work site.  It usually has to be done "manually" by lugging them whatever distance it takes, as (from front) Ron Sootsman, Mike Wilkey, and Ron's son Joe are doing here.
