We carpooled from Kellogg Forest down to the Augusta Trailhead to start our hike on a beautiful fall day.  The fall colors were not yet at their peak, but we didn't enjoy the hike any less for that.  We admired the recently installed railswitch (right) that Dr. Hutchison had installed in the parking lot.  Hikers included (from left) Ron Sootsman, Joe Higdon, Larry Hawkins, and Martha Jones.
