Calhoun County Trailway
Alliance
Here is a map or aerial image (your
choice!) showing the proposed track of Phase 1, Segment 1 of the Calhoun
County Trails Alliance trail in Emmett Township east of Battle Creek.
Mostly off-road trail, it runs from the intersection of Emmett and
Raymond Streets through the Ott Biological Preserve and Kimball
Pines County Park to Historic Bridge Park.
Some portions of it
coincide with the present North Country National Scenic Trail. It
is anticipated that once this segment of the CCTA trail is completed, some of the
NCNST, especially sections which are currently road walks, will be moved onto
the CCTA pathway.
