(1) The conference opened with a lunch and meeting of the NCTA National Board of Directors.  At the head table were (from left) Bruce Matthews, NCTA's new Executive Director, Dave Cornell of Chief Noonday Chapter who took over as Board president, and John Leinen of Minnesota, outgoing Board president.  (2) Larry Hawkins, president of Chief Noonday Chapter, was recently elected to the Board as member-at-large.  (3) Jim Baldwin, now of Scottsdale, AZ, and a member of Chief Noonday Chapter, formerly haled from West Michigan.  He is flanked (from his right) by Joan Young, NCTA Webmaster and Lower Michigan Trail Council Coordinator, and and Ken Howell of the National Park Service.  (4) Erin Lesert (with laptop) is a new member of Chief Noonday Chapter and recently became Coordinator of Membership Services and office manager of NCTA's office in Lowell.  She is flanked (from her right) by Board past president Gaylord Yost, NCTA GIS Specialist Matt Rowbotham, and Larry Hawkins.
