Most of us drove through the minor flood at the bottom of the hill either coming or going.

 
       Even without the downed trees there is a lot of smaller brush to be removed.

 
            All the work isn't back-breaking.  Some of it is just messy!

 
         And the new splash of NCTA BLUE can be seen far ahead on the trail.

 
  . . . and toss around - yet another time - where the new crossing would be best.

 

 

      The new stretch of trail requires cutting through some good-sized blow-downs.

           Some people insist on proving that a chain saw will be needed later.

 
                    But those new blazes look mighty handsome.

 
     A couple of us even had time to visit the feisty little stream over the ridge . . .
