A TRAIL SECTION - VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The excitement is building!
Chapter members adopt a section
of the trail and regularly maintain it.
But anyone can help out on any section you get the urge to explore.
We have a standing Volunteer
Agreement with the Allegheny National Forest to work on the trail.
Please contact Keith W. Klos at: anfchapter@northcountrytrail.org or nct001@verizon.net
for details on how to abide by the Volunteer Agreement and qualify for
Workmen's' Compensation under this agreement with the NFS. This means that if
you get hurt, the federal government covers you as long as you are practicing
safe work procedures, wearing a helmet and not operating a chain saw.
