CHAPTER MEETINGS

Generally, the Allegheny National Forest Chapter of the North Country Trail meets the third Monday of the month at 6:30 PM usually at the Lion's Club in Sheffield, Pennsylvania.

• Sheffield, PA is located on Rt 6 in the center of the Allegheny National Forest.

• The Lion's Club is right across the street from the Uni-Mart Convenience Store in historic, downtown Sheffield.

• The Allegheny National Forest (ANF) is in the northwest corner of Pennsylvania.

• It is 75 miles southeast from Erie, 125 miles northeast from Pittsburgh, 200 miles east from Cleveland, Ohio and 110 miles south from Buffalo, New York.

• The ANF is a 520,000 acre outdoor wonderland with a wide variety of opportunities available to the outdoor adventurer during all seasons of the year.

• It is the only national forest located in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
